WAINGAPU,SELATANINDONESIA.COM – Calon Bupati Sumba Timur, Umbu Lili Pekuwali, ST. MT melakukan pencoblosan di TPS 18, Kelurahan Kambajawa, Kecamatan Kota Waingapu.

Umbu Lili tiba di TPS didampingi isteri Ny. Diana Novita R.B.A dan keluarga serta Sekretaris Golkar Sumba Timur Herman Hilungara, Ketua Dewan Penasehat Tim ULP-YHW Pdt. Abraham Litinau, dan Ketua AMPG NTT Restu Herdani B. Dupe.

Umbu Lili tiba di TPS Pukul 10.10 Wita dan diarahkan untuk mengikuti semua tahapan dalam TPS dengan tetap mematuhi protokol kesehatan.

Usai memberikan hak suara, kepada wartawan, Umbu Lili mengaku bergembira karena seuruh tahapan telah dilalui dan semua masyarakat Sumba Timur bisa menggunakan hak pilihnya dengan baik. Dan seluruh proses rekapitulasi dan perhitungan suara diharapkan bisa berjalan dengan aman dan sesuai aturan. “Proses ini diharapkan bisa melahirkan Bupati dan Wakil Bupati yang dikehendaki masyarakat dengan tetap melalui proses yang ujur, adil dan transparan,” sebut Umbu Lili.

Ketua Tim Pemenangan Pakt ULP-YHW, Ali Oemar Fadaq menytakan optimismenya bahwa paket Kobul yang diusung Partai Golkar, PKB dan didukung PSI adalah paket yang paling siap untuk dilantik. “Kami paket Kobul palig siap untuk menang di Pilkada Sumba Timur hari ini,” sebut Ketua Harian DPD II Golkar Kabupaten Sumba Timur. ***Laurens Leba Tukan
