Anggota Polda NTT sedang melakukan registrasi bagi masyarakat yang melakukan rapid test gratis yang diselenggarakan oleh Polda NTT dalam rangka HUT Bhayangkara tahun 2020 di Taman Nostalgia, Kota Kupang, Kamis (25/6/2020)

KUPANG,SELATANINDONESIA.COM – Wakapolda NTT Brigjen. Pol. Drs. Johannis Asadoma, S.I.K., M. Hum memimpin langsung pelaksanaan rapid test gratis untuk masyarakat Kota Kupang dan sekitarnya.

Aksi kemanusiaan yang digagas Wakapolda NTT itu digelar di Taman Nostalgia, Jln. Frans Seda, Kecamata Kelapa Lima, Kota Kupang, Kamis (25/6/2020). Aksi itu juga merupakan rangkaian acara menyambut HUT Bhayangkara tahun 2020.

Wakapolda NTT Brigjen. Pol. Drs. Johannis Asadoma, S.I.K., M. Hum kepada wartawan mengatakan, dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19, semua elemen perlu membantu masyarakat yang ingin mengetahui kondisi Kesehatan apakah steril dari virus yang berpotensi Covid-19 atau tidak. “Sasaran utama kita adalah para pengguna jalan dan warga di sekitar Taman Nostalgia,” sebut Jenderal Polisi asal Kabupaten Alor ini.

Wakapolda juga menjelaskan, pihaknya memilih kawasan Taman Nostalgia sebagai lokasi aksi sosial itu agar masyarakat lebih mudah untuk mengakses serta mengetahui kondisi mereka.

“Masyarakat yang datang akan kami layani semaksimal mungkin dan kami akan selalu siap membantu masyarakat di tengah Pandemi Covid-19. Kegiatan ini juga membuat masyarakat lebih simpel dan cepat dalam mengetahui kondisi mereka, ketimbang harus ke rumah sakit,” ujar Jenderal Jhoni.

Selain menyediakan Rapid Test massal secara gratis, Polda NTT juga menyediakan pelayanan SIM gratis baik membuat SIM baru atau sekedar memperpanjang SIM bagi masyarakat umum, dengan syarat utama untuk warga yang lahir pada 1 Juli.
